Introduction
The Taiyo Yuden bluetooth SPP module (EYMF2CAMM-XX) can operate in several modes. These modes and also the baud rate can be selected using resistors R3-R8 by connecting them to either VDD_3.3 or GND. The modes are described in more detail in the EYMF2CAMM-XX datasheet, which is available at /net/hm41/folks/will/btacc/EYMF2CAMM-XX_U_NDA_18Jul03_Ver1_3.pdf. Note that this document was obtained under NDA, so I can't post it here.
Of particular interest is the AT command mode where the PIC could initiate bluetooth connection to a Linux host instead of vice versa. This may be more useful for everyday sensing using bluetooth as it would require no interaction from the user.
