cord hacks

We have a lot of cords to keep track of, and the microOptical cord is sensitive to being yanked, so here's what we've rigged up. The cord has male (sharp) velco on it (you can buy little adhesive dots) and the shoulder strap has larger female (fuzzy) velcro on it. You can string your cord up through the large loops on the shoulder strap, and then use your velcro dots to keep track of the cords slack. This leaves enough slack to turn your head, but it comes undone easily if you cord snags on anything, so the hardware doesn't get pulled on. The velcro noise is also a nice indicator that something has snagged.
